Moving Beyond Bandaids for Child and Youth Health on the Hill

We're pleased to share the successful outcomes of our recent advocacy efforts on Parliament Hill. We orchestrated a series of 36 meetings with 44 influential figures, including Ministers, MPs, Senators, and senior government officials. Together, we championed the cause of children and youth, shedding light on the pressing issues surrounding their health and wellbeing.

We also hosted a Child Health Reception, sponsored by Senator Moodie, our Parliamentary Caucus Chair, and attended by notable guests including the Minister of Health, Mark Holland, the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, Ya'ara Saks and MP Adam Van Koeverden.
Their presence underscores the importance of our mission to improve health outcomes for our youngest citizens.

Our efforts received special recognition in not just one, but BOTH chambers of Parliament.  Senator Moodie recognized our members in the Senate, while MP Johns lauded our cause in the House of Commons.

Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to this vital initiative. Your engagement underscores our collective commitment to fostering tangible change for the future generations. Let's continue to advocate and work towards measurable improvements in child and youth health outcomes. Together, we can make a difference!
